Best food in the city!! Best Philly I had and everything I tried here is good! I use mooka for catering too. The service and quality of the food is unmatched!!
Don't let the location and size fool you. This small restaurant is a hidden gem. I ordered the Cheese steak (spicy), and it brought the heat. That heat was no joke, but it wasn't the type of heat that was just nonsense, no, it brought that extra flavor with it. If you love spicy food, I highly recommend the spicy cheese steak. The roll was toasted to perfection, as well. Crunchy, yet soft. Service was great. Food was made right after I ordered, and the smell. You can smell that delicious food being cooked after you order. The atmosphere, great. I literally have nothing bad to say. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Looking forward to my next visit!
Great food affordable prices def a must if in the area! I had the beef & chicken Philly both were A1 although the chicken Philly reigns supreme. I had the bacon cheeseburger combo on my last visit which was really good just beware that it’s turkey bacon as this establishment is halal!
The menu is pretty vast, a little bit of everything to choose from. The service was fast and the food portions were huge! You get what you pay for that’s for sure! The flavor was spot on and not missing any seasonings! I highly recommend the meat over rice (lamb specifically)!!!! My husband got a Philly cheesesteak and devoured the thing in less than 10 min (no he wasn’t high or starving, its just that GOOD)!!
if you haven't had the chance to check Mooka Grill out, do it asap. everytime im in there, my boy gets me right.. and gets anyone right whenever i leave as well lol. food is completely seasoned well and tasty. my personal recommendations are the mozzarella sticks, cheese fries, and the hot honey lemon pepper party wings. in the picture you'll see the breakfast french toast platter which also comes with eggs with cheese, toast, and hashbrown. that including my recommendations will be a 10/10 everytime.
New place just opened in 3rd ward! The homie Alex was real cool! Service was fairly quick too and everything came out hot. The menu has something for everybody wings, Philly cheese steak, desserts. It’s honestly the perfect Go-To spot when you hungry and in the area. Pricing is good, food is great, don’t hesitate just pull up!
Someone told me about this place after 3am. I’ll be back more often! Great discovery!
My husband and I were down for the weekend and was told about this place. Ordered the 2 piece fish and it was delicious. We will be back...great price as well. Loved the photos of MLK.
